The head of the Pejawara matha Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Sripada visited the family of Harsha, the slain Hindu activists in Karnataka’s Shivamogga.
The seer visited the family and consoled the bereaved family. Harsha, a member of Bajrang dal who had been killed by miscreants in Shivamogga recently. The seer further prayed that such abuses would not take place anymore. The seer handed over a cheque of Rs 10,000 to the family.
The seer also visited the home of Vishwanath who had been killed a few years ago and handed over a cheque of Rs 1 lakh to his mother Meenakshamma.
Gosai math seer Vishnumoorthi Acharya, Krishna Bhat, and organization leaders were also present during his visit.
Pejavara Matha is one of the Ashta Mathas of Udupi, which was started by Sri Adhokshaja Tirtha, who was a direct disciple of Sri Madhvacharya, the founder of the Dvaita school of Hindu philosophy.
