A 24-year-old man has been arrested by the Mumbai police after a video of him performing a dangerous stunt on his motorcycle with two girls went viral on social media. The incident occurred in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) area of the city.
According to an official, the accused has cases registered against him at Antop Hill and Wadala TT police stations. After the video surfaced, a case was registered with the BKC police station, and a team was formed to apprehend the accused.
The video showed the man performing a dangerous stunt on his motorcycle with two girls sitting on the bike. The video went viral on social media, attracting the attention of the police.
“The accused was arrested after the police identified and located him. The investigation is ongoing, and we are looking into the matter to identify the girls who were with him during the stunt,” the official said.
Performing stunts on motorcycles is illegal in India, and those caught doing so can face severe penalties, including imprisonment.
