Jamaat-e-Islami has confirmed that it held talks with the RSS leadership on January 14. T. Arif Ali, General Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami, stated in an interview with ‘The New India Express’ that he held discussions with the RSS leadership as if they were controlling the central government.
In August 2022, SY Qureshi, Najeeb Jung, a former lieutenant governor of Delhi, Shahiz Siddiqui, and Syed Sherwani met with Dr Mohan Bhagwat, the RSS Sarsanghchalak. The discussion with Jamaat-e-Islami was a continuation of this. The talks will continue, according to Arif Ali, and the RSS’s top officials will take part in the subsequent conversations.
“We raised the mob lynching going on in many parts of the country. The bulldozer politics and the arrest of innocent people were also raised. Meanwhile, RSS raised the Kashi and Mathura mosque issue,” Arif Ali said.
