The Kerala High Court here on Friday has asked the government to brief about the action taken against the anti-port protesters for allegedly triggering violence in Vizhinjam.
The state government informed the court that a case was registered against the protesters and the investigation is underway. The government also informed the court that five persons have been arrested in the case. The bishops are among others who have been booked in the case, the government said.
Adani Group told the court that the government had not arrested anyone related to the case and alleged that it is full of baloney. During the hearing, the Adani group also asked why didn’t the government initiate action to seek help from the central forces.
However, the court examined the report submitted by the state government in the Vizhinjam police station attack.
