Former SFI leader Vidya has been arrested once again in connection with the fake experience certificate case. The Neeleswaram police took her into custody following allegations of presenting a fake certificate at Karinthalam Government College.
Accompanied by her lawyer, Vidya appeared at the Neeleswaram police station in the morning. During questioning, she admitted to creating the counterfeit certificate using her mobile phone, but claimed that the device is no longer functional. It is anticipated that Vidya will be seeking bail later today.
The initial investigation revealed that Vidya had utilized the fraudulent certificate to secure a teaching position at Karinthalam Government College, where she had allegedly worked for a period of one year. However, this arrest comes subsequent to her previous detention by the Agali police for producing a fake experience certificate at Attappady College. After obtaining conditional bail in that case, Vidya now faces further legal repercussions due to her involvement in yet another fraudulent certificate incident.
The authorities are investigating the matter to ascertain the extent of Vidya’s involvement and any potential accomplices in the creation and utilization of counterfeit certificates. Such acts not only compromise the integrity of educational institutions but also undermine the trust placed in the education system as a whole.
