Revealing his ‘generous’, ‘compassionate’ heart, Wayanadu MP and congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday ‘unconditionally’ pardoned CPIM’s student goons for vandalising his office. Talking to the reporters, he said that he doesn’t hold any grudge toward those who vandalised his office in Wayanad.
“This was an unfortunate thing. This is the place that reverberates the concerns of people in Wayanad. No solution can be sought through such violence. I realised that youngsters were behind the attack. They might have acted out without considering the consequences. However, I hold no grudge towards them,” he said.
Rahul, who is on a three-day visit to his constituency here, reached the office along with other senior leaders of the party and took stock of the damage. Later, he told reporters that it is the office of the people of Wayanad and what was done by the SFI cadres was “quite an unfortunate thing.”
