The accused man, who hails from Madhya Pradesh, was apprehended under the law that prohibits forced religious conversion. According to the police, the young woman had been in a relationship with the man and was residing with him. However, the situation took a drastic turn when he began pressuring her to change her religion. When the woman resisted the conversion attempts, she endured physical and mental torture at the hands of the accused.
