While the investigation into the death of famous Bollywood singer KK alias Krishnakumar Kunnath is progressing, the police have made shocking revelations about the death. Following the finding, the police has also registered a case of unnatural death.
KK collapsed at the Grand Hotel after returning from the concert held at the Nazrul Manch Auditorium in Kolkata last night. He was rushed to the Calcutta Medical Research Institute immediately but his life could not be saved. The initial conclusion was that the cause of death was heart attack.
However, national media quoting police said there were marks of injuries on his face and head. Police spoke to the organisers of the programme and hotel staffs.Harsh criticisms are levelled against the organisers of the programme related to his death. A video of an employee using fire extinguisher when more people entered is going viral.
Many fans of KK who entered without a pass were seen waiting to enter the stage. The employee applied fire extinguisher when the crowd tried to enter inside. Soon the people were seen running here and there. Kolkata-based singer Peter Gomez had earlier criticized the organizers via a post on social media. He said more people than the seating capacity attended the programme.
He alleged that the organizers did not pay attention to any of the arrangements and that the AC in the hall was switched off by the organizers. Peter Gomez pointed out that even we, the spectators of the event, could not sit there because of the heat and sweat.
‘KK had said during the event that he is not able to bear the heat and is not able to sing. He is seen wiping the sweat several times with a towel. He drank a lot of water. He was upset because of the heat and was sweating profusely. There was not enough space for him to perform on the stage
