In yet another incident that intensifies the mysteries regarding the Kerala Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, reports have emerged that the registers containing the details and amount of those who contributed to the Chief Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund are missing.
As per reports, this was found following an inspection by the finance department last day found that the documents were missing. The missing register from the Ernakulam Collectorate contains information of crores of rupees received during 2018 floods.
Earlier, the crime branch had found that Vishnu Prasad, a relief section clerk in the collectorate, had embezzled Rs 1,31,00,000 from the flood fund. The missing information came out during the trial of the case in the Perumbavoor Vigilance Court.
