In a funny incident, passengers of Kerala’s newly launched Swift bus that embarked for the famed shrine of Goddess Mookambika were shocked to see half-naked foreigners on a Goan beach when they reached the destination. The incident is the latest among the series of incidents that have been haunting the newly started service.
As per reports, the bus started from Kerala’s capital Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday, the 8th of May. Another driver boarded from Ernakulam who is reportedly new. Though from Kundapura the bus had to turn to right towards Mookambika, the driver continued on the national highway to finally reach a beautiful beach in Goa where instead of Goddess the pilgrims found half-naked foreign women basking in the tender rays at the beach.
As per reports a few of the enraged passengers had heated conversations with the crew, while others considered it as a blessing in disguise! They must have considered it an opportunity because, with a bus ticket to Kollur temple, they could see yet another tourist attraction too.
While it is said that the driver was new and had no idea about the route, the driver tried to save his face by blaming innocent google maps that have been showing routes to billions of people across the world. Anyways, Kerala’s pride, Swift took a U-turn and reached Kollur to see the temple closed.
The curse of the goddess, who knows? – the passengers had to have darshan in front of the closed sanctum sanctorum and then return to Thiruvananthapuram probably beholding an unforgettable experience of a Mookambika Darshan!
