Kerala police apprehended a third-year degree student, Mohammad Nihal, hailing from Malappuram with MMDA.
The arrest was made in Vaniyambalam after the police received a tip-off regarding Nihal’s alleged involvement in drug-related activities. 26 grams of MDMA was seized from the student during the operation.
The police, acting swiftly on the provided information, conducted a targeted operation that led to the detention of Mohammad Nihal. The 22-year-old student was studying in Bengaluru and had returned to his hometown during a break from his academic pursuits.
The authorities suspect that Nihal was involved in the illegal distribution of MDMA, a potent synthetic psychoactive substance commonly referred to as ecstasy.
