Tele veterinary ambulance is a solution that helps to provide proper and timely treatment to pet animals.
The Department of Animal Husbandry has decided to start a tele-veterinary unit in 2021. But the project was delayed because of the inavailabilty of staff. Appointments were made for posts of Doctor, Radiologist, Attendant cum Driver and Technician through Employment Exchange.
‘The tele unit in which veterinarians reaches home for treatment is a revolutionary change. It was difficult to bring the animals to the hospital and so on. Such problems can be solved.’ , said Dr. K. Muraleedharan, Senior Veterinary Surgeon, Kannur
