In an incident when the Kerala Congress chief called Chief Minister Vijayan a dog that broke its chain triggered controversy in the state. While the argument on this continues among congress men and commies continue, a communict youth organisation activist has filed a case.
As per reports, Palarivattom police registered the case under Section 153 of IPC for hate speech. The action was taken on the complaint of a local DYFI leader.
The case was registered shortly after the statement of the DYFI leader was recorded. His controversial statement was that the chief minister is running around Thrikkakara like a dog after breaking its chain.
When the statement triggered a controversy, Sudhakaran said that he had not called the chief minister a dog and that it is a common saying in Malabar. He said that he did not intend to hurt anyone and if it has hurt anybody will withdraw it.
