While travelling from Mysore to Chamarajnagar, there are a number of small towns on the national highway among them, once we reach Kavalande, we will soon realise a major change in the very ambience. The outlook of a typical Karnataka village is changed, we can see only Muslims walking around wearing Taqiyah. Also, unlike other villages nearby, there are a number of butcher shops and non-vegetarian restaurants.
While I tried to communicate with a Muslim friend whom I met on Facebook, he shared his location saying that he is on a course in Kavalande and requested if I can travel. Expecting that I can explore the suburbs of Mysore I started too, to finally end up in the village mentioned above. However, I could experience terror penetrating the marrow as I found him coming out of the mosque.
The Muslim man explained that he is there for a couple of days to attend some classes. Out of curiosity, I asked what is he studying there and he told me that it is some religious matters and how to perform various Islamic rituals as mentioned in Quran. Knowing me as a Hindu, he also used the sentence ‘to learn more about spreading ‘peace’ and the values of humanity.
The mosque situated just behind the police station was crowded where I could see a number of youngsters too. I was not satisfied with his answer and on the way back I was trying to gather more details about the village. From the villagers, I came to know that it is a kind of secluded place only for Muslims and the very culture is different there. Most of them uttered the very word Kavalande in a disgusting way.
In Karnataka, there are a number of areas where we can find Muslims that are thickly populated. The Hindus who lived there, either left the place or were driven out by the Muslim majority. What really happens is that the population further spread in the surrounding area, eventually making Muslims a majority in the region. This is dangerous especially when there are communal violence where these places become safe hideouts for extremists.
We do not know what exactly is happening in the mosque and what is being taught there. Neither I nor the police has permission to enter their premises and check thoroughly if there are anti-national activities happening within such places. However, one thing is sure, localities like Kavalande could be a threat not only to Karnataka but to the entire nation. What we have seen today through a twitter video is just an indication of the same.
If someone whispers 'Hindu Rashtra', then it's a crime.
But here someone shouts we are already Chota Pakistan, no one bothers.
👉Where are all those rotten media, liberals, tukde award wapsi gang? 😡
