While the news of the ban of terrorist outfit Popular Front of India (PFI) is trending, back in Kerala netizens are asking if it is not CPM which has been behind violent incidents in the state including the killing of nearly a hundred people belonging to opposition parties that has to be banned first. Netizens have marked their comments in a number of places responding to the news.
“In fact, it is the criminal gang called CPM that should be banned first in Kerala. Are the murders and atrocities committed by the CPM insignificant? They are literally destroying the state of Kerala,” commented a reader. Reminding the incidents where the banned SIMI activists joining in the communist party and continuing terror activities, the comment also warns that those popular front criminals will continue their treason as CPM workers from today.
Between 2000 and 2017, Kerala reported at least 80 political murders. The state also reported the third-highest number of murders committed due to political reasons in 2015, according to the National Crime Records Bureau in which most of the killings are by CPM. In the last 17 years, 65 RSS or BJP workers, 11 workers of Congress and IUML were killed by CPIM, says statistics.
