The upcoming film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, directed by Farhad Sanji and starring Salman Khan and Palak Tiwari, has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Palak Tiwari, daughter of actress Shweta Tiwari, revealed that women on the sets of Salman Khan’s films are not allowed to wear dresses with low necklines.
Palak recounted a “funny story” about her mother’s reaction to the dress code rules enforced by Salman Khan on the set of ‘Antim’, where she was working as an assistant director. “Salman sir had a rule: ‘every girl on my set, the neckline should be here, all the girls should be covered, like good proper girls’,” she said.
Palak went on to explain that Salman Khan is a traditionalist who believes in protecting women on his set, especially when there are men around whom they do not personally know. “If there are men around, whom she doesn’t personally know, it’s not his personal space where he doesn’t trust everyone, he’s like, ‘the girl should be safe, always’,” Palak added.
The interview has sparked a debate on social media, with many questioning the need for such dress code rules in the film industry. Some have praised Salman Khan for his efforts to ensure the safety of women on his sets, while others have criticized him for imposing his personal beliefs on others.
Meanwhile, the film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ is set to release on April 21, and fans are eagerly awaiting its release. The film is directed by Farhad Sanji and stars Salman Khan and Palak Tiwari in lead roles.
