The cantonment police have recently filed a case against Ansil Jaleel, the former state convener of KSU (Kerala Students Union), following allegations of possessing a forged graduation certificate. The complaint was lodged by the Kerala University registrar, accusing Ansil of forging a B.Com degree certificate. He now faces charges of forgery and fraud.
Upon learning of the accusations, Ansil promptly approached the Alappuzha police to address the matter after a news report surfaced, implicating him in the forgery scandal. However, it has come to light that no immediate action was taken in response to his approach.
Ansil vehemently refutes any involvement in the creation or use of the fraudulent document. He insists on a thorough investigation to uncover the truth behind the allegations.
In the meantime, the police conducted a raid at the private financial institution where Ansil is employed. It is alleged that Ansil utilized his fake degree certificate to secure the job at the company. However, he maintains that he provided only his higher secondary qualification to obtain the position as a bill collector. Ansil further claims that the police failed to recover any degree certificate in his name during the search conducted at the institution.
