In an inhuman act, the Kerala Bank officials have seized a house in Payipra when the father who is a heart patient was in ICU and by evicting four children who were staying there.
Kerala Bank officials confiscated the house of Ajesh, a native of Payipra. Ajesh is undergoing treatment for heart disease at a hospital in Ernakulam and his wife is a bystander at the hospital.
There were only four children in the house when the foreclosure proceedings took place. The foreclosure proceedings were led by the bank’s general manager.
The family had a debt of Rs 1.5 lakh. The bank informed the MLA that the confiscation was based on a court order.
