Islamic priest Maulana Abdul Ghaffar Salafi on Monday lashed out at Muskan Khan who was hailed by Islamic outfits for raising ‘Allahu Akbar’ slogan at a college in Udupi amid the hijab controversy in Karnataka for shaking hands with strangers.
The Maulana asks Muskan Khan to be fearful about Allah and know that it is a sin to shake hands on strangers. The priest also asks her if her father didn’t teach her this ‘lesson’. The controversial video appeared in the Islamic Conference video YouTube channel.
“A man from Hyderabad came to see Muskan and he shook hands with Muskan’s. The 50-year-old man also put his hand on his shoulder and waist. That was not a problem for her. Didn’t she know that such acts are considered a sin in Islam’ – the priest asks.
The priest also claimed that 1400 years ago Prophet Mohammed had taught Muslim women how to use a mobile phone and he said it is forbidden for Muslim women to talk to strangers over a mobile phone.
