Shocking details of the torture that Varsha Raghuvanshi, the love Jihad victim in UP suffered has become a shocking reminder to the Hindu community. The report has emerged soon after the bail of Faheem alias Armaan Qureshi was rejected bail citing a complaint from Varsha’s brother.

In his plea, Varsha’s brother says that his sister Varsha was lured away by Faheem Qureshi (Arman) a year and a half ago and married her. Soon after this, Faheem’s family members started harassing Varsha. She was beaten up because she was a Hindu.

Faheem and his family members used to cut meat, cook it and force her to eat it. They also asked for a car and Rs 5 lakh. Varsha in her in-laws was called ‘Kaafir Ki Aulad’ and was insulted by abusing Hindu gods and goddesses. The details show the severity of the harassment Varsha went through.

The excerpts shared by Swarajya journalist Swati Goel Sharma in her tweet, further says that Varsha’s brother has informed that he was informed on November 12, 2021, that his sister has been murdered. When her family members reached there, Varsha’s body was lying on the floor, indicating that she was murdered and then hung.

From bail dismissal order by Agra court in Varsha Raghuvanshi case (Varsha was found dead at husband Faheem Qureshi’s house in November):

The court, while hearing the case, took note of the fact that Varsha died within about one-and-a-half years of her marriage under suspicious circumstances and the incidents with her were of a serious and abominable nature. The court, while examining all the facts and citing the gravity of the offence, rejected the bail of the accused.
