The controversial BBC documentary that slams PM Modi for his role in the Gujarat riots seems like sparking communal hatred in the sensitive Indian community. Politicians take this opportunity as a weapon against the success of the Modi government across the country following which massive protests have erupted in several parts of the county.
Defying the central ban, the opposition youth organizations screened the documentary in many places. With the BJP also coming in to stop this, there were clashes in many places.
Clashes started in the Kerala capital on Tuesday afternoon when youth activists tried to force their way into an exhibition organized by the Youth Congress on Thiruvananthapuram’s Manaviyam Road. A screening was organized under the leadership of the Fraternity Group (MSS-SIO) at the Central University of Hyderabad on Monday evening.
