Kerala SSLC, Plus One and Plus Two examinations which were interrupted amid the lockdown over coronavirus outbreak will be conducted between May 21-May 29, informed Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. He added that evaluation of the completed exams will commence from May 13.
Addressing the press meet here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister informed that the general education department has already initiated action to complete these public examinations.
Meanwhile, a special education programme for school students will be broadcasted in Victers Channel from June 1 amid the coronavirus outbreak. These special classes will be available through online platforms and mobile applications. Special arrangements will be made for students who are unable to access the classes through virtual platforms, informed the Chief Minister.
He also appealed to the local cable operators and DTH service providers to ensure Victers Channel is provided to the customers without failure.
Online training for 81,609 teachers in primary and upper primary schools had started before the lockdown. This training will be completed. Apart from this, a special summer training programme will be conducted via Victors Channel. Digital material needed for the training will be made available to the teachers through their login IDs in the comprehensive web portal. Training for teachers in primary and upper primary schools will commence from May 14.
The Chief Minister appealed to the teachers to ensure that tools, supplied as part of High Tech projects, are maintained properly.
