Eminent yoga trainer and first National Institute of Sports (NIS) qualified yoga coach from south India Yogacharya Kishore MR will lead a special session on the ‘Role of Yoga in Maintaining Harmony in Society’ during the upcoming Panorama International Literature Festival 2020 hosted by Indus Scrolls. The session will also feature specially designed practices for writers for further enhancing their writing skills.
Born in Mysore famed for its royal heritage and rich culture, Yogacharya Kishore MR is the first National Institute of Sports (NIS) qualified yoga coach from the southern part of India. His contributions in the field of Yoga have made transformational changes in society.
Kishore was brought up in Nanjangud. He completed his schooling and pre-university at Nanajngud before finishing his Bachelor of commerce in Mysore TTL College of Business Management. He has also an MBA degree from Acharya Institute of Technology, Bangalore.
Kishore started practising Yoga in the year 2002 under Gopalkrishna Iyengar who was trained under B K S Iyengar, one of the foremost yoga teachers in the world. Inspired by its scope on ensuring physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing he pursued MSc in Yoga and nature cure. He has also a diploma in public health Management.
Kishore represented the University of Mysore in the All India Inter-University Tournaments during the years 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 held at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar (PUNJAB) and Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur (RAJASTHAN) respectively. He was awarded Yogacharya in the year 2019. He is presently working at the University of Mysore while contributing much to society as a yoga coach and consultant Therapist.
‘We consider it an opportunity to share the ancient Vedic wisdom for maintaining peace and harmony within to achieve the goal of the same in a society,” said the organizers of Panorama International Literature Festival. “We are sure that writers who are the torch-bearers to the future will greatly benefit from the technics that will be introduced by Yogacharya Kishore MR, added the statement. The festival is to be conducted from 2 – 16 of October 2020.
As many as 37 countries are participating in the event.
