As the country celebrates Ganesha Chaturthi, President, Vice-President and Prime Minister Modi extended their greetings to the people.
The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind in his message on the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi has said:-
“On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, I convey greetings and best wishes to all my fellow citizens in India and abroad.
The celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi marks the birth of Lord Ganesha, who epitomises learning, knowledge and prosperity. These represent values and goals that we must imbibe to achieve national development and welfare for all sections of society.
Let us all celebrate this festival with traditional fervour and gaiety”.
The Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu has greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. In a message, he said that Ganesh Chaturthi marks the birth of Lord Ganesh, who is revered as an embodiment of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune. May this festival bring peace, harmony and prosperity in our country, he added.

Ganesh Chaturthi marks the birth of Lord Ganesh, who is revered as an embodiment of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune. In India it is a common practice to invoke and chant the name of Lord Ganesh before the start of any good work, so that all obstacles are removed and success is achieved.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday greeted people on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi and sought the blessings of Lord Ganesh.
“Ganpati Bappa Maurya….Greetings on Ganesh Chaturthi. On Ganesh Chaturthi, we bow to Lord Ganesh.
“May Lord Ganesh shower his blessings on us and enrich our lives with peace, joy & wisdom,” the Prime Minister said in a message released by his office.
