Amid the ongoing tensions between India-China after the violent clashes at the Galwan valley in Eastern Ladakh, Mollywood director, Major Ravi, who is known for his Army-based films, told Kochi Times that he is prepping up a movie based on the conflict.
The movie titled “Bridge on Galwan”, will focus on the building of the strategic bridge which was the key trigger for the fight.
Talking about the movie, Major Ravi told Kochi Times that till now he has handled India-Pakistan wars and conflicts. However, in the upcoming movie, he said that he would be revealing the incidents that happened in the past between India and China and how it led to escalation.
There would certain facts which will be coming out including how the previous governments restricted use of weapons on the border.
“No army can take that stand and guard the country against an enemy. This was evident from the photos that were circulated in which the soldiers were using just physical force,” Major Ravi said.
The film is slated to start by January 2021 in Leh-Ladakh region, said Major Ravi.
