In a historic event, writers from over fifty countries dedicated to humanitarian efforts will pledge their commitment to global peace and harmony. The inaugural ceremony of Panorama International Literary Festival 2020 organised by Indus Scrolls in association with Indus Scrolls Press and Writers’ Capital Foundation, Italy, coincides with the birthday of a global leader MK Gandhi. Apart from eminent writers, scholars will also present their views on the theme ‘Vasudhaiva Kudumbakam,’ the famed concept of the world as a single family.
The event features writers from across the world who would present their work on the theme and deliver the message on global peace and harmony. “More than a hundred writers have already registered for the event whereas the registration process is still going on. It is overwhelming response that we receive from around the globe,” said the organisers. “The event is being conducted online due to the pandemic, however the response from the writers once again reminds us the characteristic of human race to raise beyond the challenges posed by nature,” they added.
Through 2 different literary events Panorama International Literature Festival (PILF) and Panorama National Literature Festival (PNLF), Indus Scrolls is aiming major transformation in the society through the media of literature. While PLIF is dedicated to introducing topic inspired by ancient Indian wisdom that is relevant to present social circumstances to the rest of the world, PNLF, which is conducted at the national level, is dedicated to Indus Scrolls’ efforts to bolster the values of national integrity among Indians who share diverse cultural values by bringing writers from various states under single umbrella.
A nationalistic media venture, Indus Scrolls was established in the year 2017 with an aim of instilling nationalistic values among Indians and to further popularise Indian culture and tradition. Along with a news portal dedicated to national and international news, research papers, articles, literary works etc. Indus Scrolls Press, the publishing division has already published a handful of books that has attracted national attention. Indus Scrolls has also marked its presence in the field of charity through programmes like Kanya Vidya Prathishthan that is aimed at helping education of girl children in India.
