A video surfaced a couple of days back showing people in Kashmir celebrating the loss of Bharat in the Cricket World Cup. A person in one of the WhatsApp group I was a member of remarked, “People usually celebrate victories.” That set me thinking about the degradation in the mentality of people following a brainwashed Islam.
Indeed, all over the world, people celebrate victories. No country that has lost a war celebrates the loss in the war. But look at the results of wars in countries like Iraq, Iran, Syria, Qatar and more. The loss of the war by these countries to America or any of the western nations is celebrated by other Islamic countries.
Look at China. They are handing out the strictest of punishments for those who want to follow Islam. Human rights are being trampled cruelly and indoctrination to giving up Islam is being done on a war footing. Yet, when twenty-two countries at the United Nations’ top human rights body issued a joint statement this week, urging China to end its mass arbitrary detentions and related violations against Muslims in the Xinjiang region, no Islamic country was a signatory to this! The signatories were Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
Madarasas are supposed to be places of learning. Hospitals are supposed to be places of healing. Mosques are supposed to be places for praying. But looking at the huge cache of arms, ammunitions, guns recovered in such places by our Investigating agencies, one would be forgiven for thinking that these places are actually storehouses for weapons. Definitely the people visiting these places would have seen illegal activities happening here. But they are so brainwashed into thinking that this is what such places are all about, that they ‘go along with the flow’, so to say.
Bakri-Id is the festival where sacrifice is to be feted. One is supposed to give up that which one loves the most, to prove their devotion to their God. But these days, especially in Bharat, Bakri-Id has become a festival where hurting the sentiments of Hindus is what it is aimed at. The God of Muslims obviously has no role to play here, since if He did, cows and calves would not be sacrificed in this festival – especially given that the name of the festival itself is ‘Bakri-Id’. Mohammed himself had spoken against killing of cows and eating red meat (beef) as being bad for health.
Coming to celebrating Victories, the people of Kashmir could have celebrated the glorious wins of Dutee Chand, Hima Das and all the ladies who won Gold medals recently at the Universiade. But alas! Brainwashed people could only celebrate Bharat losing the semi-finals in the World Cup Cricket.
Any community which celebrates the loss of their own people can never work towards progress. How can one move ahead in life while rejoicing in the pain of others, physical or mental? When a group of people start behaving like that, they are inviting more pain into their own lives in rebound. If it were only about one country, one could fault that country … but when it is about a people in various countries following this path of happiness or silence while causing pain to others, do they then have the right to cry “victim”? Om Shanti, Shanti, Shantih…
