Oh! God,
Where are you?
Sitting in heaven?
Managing, ruling, supervising Cosmos?
Searched you for ages,
Through scriptures, texts, sermons.
Meditated, breathed, worked out,
My Lord, to discover you, “within”
Tried in vain to comprehend you.
Tired, disappointed, worn out,
Leaving all struggles,
Sitting on the banks of Ganga,
Overlooking pristine mountains.
The rhythmic echo of flowing waters,
The patting cool breeze,
The bright emerging Sun,
The aroma of the woods.
Closing my eyes,
Sparked something inside,
Tears of gratitude flowed.
All around I could see God
In the mountain, trees, shrubs,
In the cows, dogs,
In the moving crowd,
All around, within and without,
Only God.
