Ragini Dwivedi, a popular star in Kannada film industry which is also known as Sandalwood, was born May 24, 1990.
She started her career as a model, she was a finalist in the 2008 Femina Miss India contest and won the Richfeel Femina Miss Beautiful Hair Award at the Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2009 contest.
She entered the cinema with Veera Madakari (2009), which earned her the Suvarna Film Award for Best Actress. Kempe Gowda (2011), Shiva (2012), Bangari (2013) and Ragini IPS (2014) have distinguished themselves in the hit films in the Kannada language, becoming one of the leading actresses of Kannada cinema.
Ragini Dwivedi was born into a Punjabi family in Bangalore, Karnataka, where she was raised. However, it has its roots in Rewari, Haryana. His father Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi, born in Rewari, was a general of the Indian army and his mother Rohini, a housewife [a citation needed]. His paternal grandfather, Pyare Lal Dwivedi, was a railway guard at Rewari.

In 2015, Dwivedi was appointed Ambassador of the Times Asia Wedding Fair brand. The same year, at India Leadership Conclave in Mumbai, she was honored and received as the most promising face of Indian cinema.
The Central Crime Branch (CCB) of Bengaluru, which is probing the drug menace in the Kannada film industry, on Friday arrested actor Ragini Dwivedi after questioning her following a raid at her residence this morning. CCB is expecting to expose the whole drug mafia in the film industry of South India with her arrest.
