In Punjab, the Border Security Force has recovered all the five dead bodies of the intruders during an intensive search operation launched after cross firing between the Jawans on the Indo-Pak border.
BSF Deputy Inspector General Mahipal Yadav informed that arms and ammunitions including one AK-47 rifle, two magazines, 27 live rounds, four 9 mm pistols, seven magazines and 109 live rounds and nine kilograms heroin along with two mobile phones and Pak Currency worth Rs 610 during the search of place of encounter.
He said, troops of the 103rd battalion noticed suspicious movement of intruders and when asked to stop, the intruders fired at BSF troops who retaliated in self-defence in the befitting manner.
The Border Security Force personnel shot dead five intruders in cross fire along the India-Pakistan Border in Tarntaran district of Punjab near Border Out-Post Dall, when they were attempting to cross the border in the early hours today.
