British Islamist influencer Mohammad Hijab has responded to the new First Minister of Scotland, Humza Yousaf, who recently stated that gay sex is not a sin. In a video posted on his social media, Hijab called Yousaf a disbeliever and an “Uncle Tom” and claimed that Yousaf’s statement takes him out of the religion of Islam.
Hijab stated that Yousaf’s statement negates many key verses and hadiths in the Quran and that he is a coward and disbeliever of Allah, the messenger, and the Quran. Hijab also excommunicated Yousaf from the religion of Islam and said that the only way for him to come back is for him to repent and clarify his statement.

Hijab also criticized Yousaf for having a “colonized mind” and being an “Uncle Tom” and warned him that he will be relegated to the dustbin of history if he does not make repentance and clarification. Hijab ended his video by stating that Yousaf is nothing because he has left the religion of Islam and that the only way back is through repentance and clarification.
Yousaf’s statement that gay sex is not a sin has sparked controversy among some members of the Muslim community in Scotland, with some calling for his resignation. However, others have praised Yousaf for his progressive stance on LGBTQ+ rights.
