Singer Armaan Malik is excited about his proposed meeting with The Lion King Director Jon Favreau in Los Angeles. Malik will attend the world premiere of the film, which is a gala event.

Favreau is overhauling Disney’s The Lion King to make it musical live-action film. He has directed the films such as Elf, Zathura: A Space Adventure, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Cowboys & Aliens and The Jungle Book.

Favreau is helming the project and has made some of my favourite movies in recent times and I’m really glad that I’m getting an opportunity to get a peek into his creative world and share some fun moments with him

In a statement, Malik said, “I’m so stoked to be joining Disney India for the premiere of The Lion King in LA. This is going to be my first time at a premiere in Hollywood, and I couldn’t be more excited to be part of such an iconic project.”

According to him, what makes the project even more special is the opportunity it offers for him to meet with Jon Favreau and other greats in the industry. He says, “Favreau is helming the project and has made some of my favourite movies in recent times and I’m really glad that I’m getting an opportunity to get a peek into his creative world and share some fun moments with him.”

Along with Malik, singer Sunidhi Chauhan is also part of the project. The film will be released in India on July 19 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
