One person has died in a shooting at a church in California. Four people have sustained serious injuries in the attack. An assaulter has been taken into custody by the police. Arms have recovered from him, said the police.
“The shooting occurred at 1:26 pm inside Geneva Presbtyerian Church. Last day, 10 people had been killed in a shooting at a supermarket in Buffalo. Four people sustained serious injuries”, said the police. President Joe Biden has condemned the incident.
This is for the second day in a row that shootings have taken place in the US. 10 people were killed in the shooting in Buffalo supermarket. A total of 13 people were shot.
The police had taken into custody an 18-year-old assaulter in connection with the incident. According to officials, racism is the reason for the attack.
