According to Yadav, a Ph D Research Scholar at Jawaharlal Nehru University, the book deliberates on the work and thoughts of Swami Vivekananda and their relevance on Bharat in the Amrit Kaal. On the one hand, this book will make its readers aware of Swami Vivekananda’s vision of an awakened India, while on the other, it seeks to throw light on the relevance of Swamiji in the lives of the youth. The appropriateness of essential topics like his “Message of World Brotherhood” and the “Plague Manifesto” written during the Bengal pandemic have been included in the book.
The book contains many interesting incidents and information related to Swamiji’s life, which takes us closer to him and dispels many misconceptions. Swamiji has been shown to have influenced many great personalities during and after his lifetime, including Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Sister Nivedita, Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, and Narendra Modi. Apart from this, there is a theme of “Yoga” and “Unity in Diversity of India”. Along with Swamiji’s contribution, an attempt has been made to provide readers with answers to the misconceptions related to these subjects. The last chapter discusses the ideological footprint of Swami Vivekananda in G20 countries. The book is published by Vivekananda Kendra, Hindi Prakashan Vibhag.
