The National Investigation Agency on Monday arrested two terrorists from the international airport here. They were brought here issuing a lookout notice against them in Riyadh.
One of the arrested is a Keralite, Shuhaib, a native of Pappinissery in Kannur. He is an accused in the Bengaluru bomb blast case.
The other person is Muhammad Gulnavas, a native of Uttar Pradesh. He is an accused in the Delhi hawala scandal.
The flight carrying them from Riyadh landed at the airport at 6.30 pm.
NIA interrogated them for two hours at the airport. According to reports, RAW officials were also present during interrogation.
Both will be first taken to Kochi. Then Shuhaib will be taken to Bengaluru while Gulnavas will be taken to Delhi.
One of them is a Lashkar-e-Taiba militant while the other is a member of Indian Mujahideen.
