Mother
What am l saying inside me tonight?..
The Angel of forgiveness
brought me here…
to take your hands
to go and walk upon the wavy sea…
My Mother full of pain..
You lost your daughter..
I lost my sister…
Like little branches we tilt
upon the foamy waves…
We laugh and cry Mother..
My Mother.. Oh Mother…
You were continuously
under men’s slavery…
You shouldn’t have supported them
so much Mother…
You shouldn’t have given all your life!…
You should have torn down
the idols Mother!…
And taken us into your arms!…
Oh, my suffering Mother!…
How many battles have l given
And you have never seen anything Mother
Anything.. anything…
You come out to the door Mother..
And with bitterness
You say goodbye to us Mother…
Will you go away Mother?..
Or is it that you are left alone
Wandering around crying
Against the walls?…
Oh damn, damn loneliness!…
Luckily you have
your grandchildren that come Mother..
Luckily, two lights live
and laugh beside you…
The old people say
“That we- people -naturally pass
so many things!”…
But in sorrow we have grown
so old Mother…
A malice lives in love
that other people show in front of us
and a deception…
The people that experience something bad
are in pain…
And all the other people outside
are just strangers…
And Charon rounds about
without an invitation
but is always invited
by the sins of the heart…
I don’t want to write beautiful poems
Tonight Mother…
Nor do l want Angels to come beside us..
Because l have so much pain
In my heart tonight Mother…
Mother!.. Oh Mother!…
Why have we become so very old?..
Why did so many deaths happen?..
Why Mother?..
Why?…
