In a yet another incident that proves the arrogance, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan interrupted the welcome speech in a gathering and delivered his inaugural address saying ‘he had ‘no other way’. The incident happened in the three-day program of Malayala mission ‘Malayanma 2020’ held at Thiruvananthapuram on Friday.
Chief Minister arrived an hour late for the program that was scheduled to begin at 2. Usually, the CM arrives on time for all public functions. He caught many people by surprise when he got up from his seat as soon as Malayala Mission director Prof. Susan George started delivering the welcome address.
Taking the mike stand, Chief Minister said that welcome address can be delivered later as it would naturally take a lot of time. He then gave his speech after saying he has another program scheduled at 3 pm and that he had no other way.
Pinarayi Vijayan is notorious for his attitudes during his public appearances and has similarly insulted a number of people including media persons during events. His approach has been widely criticised by people regardless of their political affilations.
