Three terrorists were shot down in an encounter with the security forces in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, police officials said on Wednesday.
Security forces had launched a cordon and search operation in Tral area of Pulwama district late Tuesday night after they received a piece of information of the presence of terrorists.
Three unidentified terrorists were killed in the gunfight.
