Jammu and Kashmir to host its first-ever Indoor National Rowing Championship soon

Jammu and Kashmir would be hosting its first-ever Indoor National Rowing Championship soon. This was announced by Principal Secretary of Department of Education and Technical Education Navin Kumar Choudhary during an interaction with a group of athletes today at Srinagar’s Banquet Hall.

Mr Choudhary, who is also the President of Association for Rowing and Sculling, (JKARS) said that some vital equipment have been installed for training purposes of the athletes. He said that Administration was aiming to take significant steps in boosting water sports across Jammu and Kashmir as the Union Territory has tremendous potential in this regard.
