[embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FQDkT7UQPE[/embedyt]Even as other media outlets in the national capital were barred from entering Kerala House in Delhi where ‘Love Jihad’ victim Hadia is stationed, representatives of the Jamat-e-Islami media organizations were allowed entry and take pictures of the woman who is under the observation of the Apex Court. Hadia has been brought to Delhi to depose before the Supreme Court.
There were intelligence reports that the victim’s life is under threat. Therefore, special security arrangements were made for the victim. However, throwing every caution to winds, the authorities permitted couple of journalists linked to the Jamat.
How come when all the media houses were banned, including that of the CPI(M), leading partner in the ruling coalition Left Democratic Front, representatives of the Madhyamam daily Hasanul Banna and Media One TV channel were permitted to enter the premises is the question mediapersons were asking.
Mediapersons in the capital were livid over the preferential treatment given to radical Islamic organizations and their representatives. Islamists have deployed senior advocates to argue the case.
A senior journalist Thekkum Bhagom Mohan stated: “We knew Communists and Islamists had close links but never thought the LDF government will openly pander the radicals.”
Meanwhile, proving the allegation right that Islamists have penetrated into the Left organisations, a handful of Left activists from Jawaharlal Nehru University took out a march to the Kerala House supporting Islamists. They shouted slogans like: “Salutations to Hadia.”
