The High Court on Friday dismissed Kerala government’s argument that it needs more time to implement the Supreme Court verdict in connection with the Kothamangalam church dispute case.
The court said that there are only two options before the government- either it implement the order using police force or see that the central force implement the order.
The High court asked the Assistant Solicitor General to appear before the court on Tuesday in this regard.
Sufficient time was given to implement the Supreme Court order. But there have been failures on the part of the government in taking over the churches. With this, the court sought the possibility of summoning the Central forces.
