Leading small finance bank in India, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank (Ujjivan SFB), has announced a major upgrade to its doorstep banking services, with an emphasis on providing free banking services to senior citizens and customers with disabilities. This is consistent with the Bank’s mission to advance customer-centricity and inclusivity. These services are currently available to more than one lakh Ujjivan SFB customers who fall into these categories.
The daily cash pickup and delivery limit per instance under doorstep banking services has been increased to a maximum of Rs 25,000. There are no service fees for customers who receive up to four door-to-door financial services each month at their doorstep.
In addition, demand draft delivery, cheque pickup, and cash pick-up and delivery are included in the financial services. Furthermore, non-financial documentation services include updating profiles, filing Form 15G/H (TDS relief exemption on term deposit interest), and issuing new debit cards. Each branch will be able to access these services within operating distance.
Consumers can simply obtain these services by calling their local bank branch and submitting a request via free, round-the-clock phone banking in their preferred language at 1800 208 2121. Requests for doorstep services will be completed during business hours on all working days.
Ujjivan Small Finance Bank’s MD and CEO, Ittira Davis, stated:
“We are dedicated to providing solutions that are focused around customers’ needs. By providing them with a convenient and empowering banking experience, this initiative demonstrates our commitment to meeting these requirements. We think that banking services ought to be easily accessible to all people.”
