Khalistani terrorist group Sikhs For Justice has threatened to stage protests outside Indian embassies in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada on Republic Day over the farm laws.
It yet provocation, the banned outfit has written to foreign diplomats in New Delhi on farmer laws.
The letter comes at a time when talks between the farmers and the Narendra Modi government seem to be making progress with the latter also offering to suspend the farm laws for a year and a half.
This is another bid by the banned outfit to internationalise the farmers’ protest.
The letters state that SFJ members will not just stage protests but also block the Indian missions in these countries.
Three days ago, Delhi police put up ‘wanted terrorist’ posters ahead of Republic Day in Connaught Place that sought information on alleged operatives of Khalistani groups and Al Qaeda.
This just days after the government raised Khalistani threat to the farmers protest in the Supreme Court.
Attorney General KK Venugopal said that Khalistanis had infiltrated the protest. Many farmers are camping at Delhi’s borders seeking repeal of the three farm laws.
Protesting farmers are planning a tractor rally in Delhi on January 26.
