A quotation group that targeted NDA leaders in Kerala have been arrested after receiving information to the Aluva Rural SP. The group had arrived at Munambam from where they were caught by the police.
In the group of 7, native from Ernakulam’s Paravoor is also one among them. According to reports, he was the one who guided the other six persons. They had sheltered at a home-stay in Munambam with swords like that of a Tamil style.
There were pieces of information that the gang had arrived from Tamil Nadu to Thiruvananthapuram two days ago. It was only after this that the police received information that the gang had reached Ernakulam.
The arrested persons are from Kanyakumari and Kulachal area. According to police, the team belongs to a gang-war in Tamil Nadu. Investigations have revealed that some of them are accused of several murder cases in Tamil Nadu.
However, these people did not know each other and have been sheltered for a week near Munambam beach.
At the same time, the police have not disclosed the mastermind behind this quotation team. Interrogation is underway.
