All India Radio reports a true story of conquest over COVID virus by Nagalakshmi Kadur, a woman in Bengaluru, Karnataka who contracted the virus from her brother and underwent successful treatment in Victoria COVID hospital.
Nagalakshmi Kadur and her brother are both dependent on dialysis. For their misfortune they contracted the virus and were shifted to Victoria hospital with their 78 year old father. During 14 days of isolation in the hospital, she says they were provided dialysis service, good food and medical care.
A poet by heart, she says confidence, will power and kind words from hospital staff and fellow patients helped her and her brother cure the infection.
She says that unlike television reports, she had a pleasant experience in the hospital. She saw people getting discharged from her ward that gave her confidence that Coronavirus can be vanquished with a firm mind.
