The impact created by the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput is severe when it is about his fans in India. Nevertheless, reports indicate that the same is the case with everyone else who has seen Sushant at least once on the screen. Perhaps it is about a social evil that is behind the sad demise of the actor, artists and writers across the world express their grief through social media.
Saba Zain, a popular poet from the Sindh region of Pakistan has also come up with a Facebook post that has moved netizens. In her post, she has dedicated a poem by Dr, Aslam Ansari in which she has raised her concerns over the pathetic experiences that lead to the suicide of an artist.
Let’s look at her post:
Here is the poem translated to English:
The last soliloquy of Gautam by Dr Aslam Ansari
To My dear ones
To those who look at me with love
To those who listen to me with respect
To those who understand the past …… of life
I am fading away
And I am already burnt !!
I’ve reached the last edge of my existence
Are you listening to Me my dear ones ?
I am going and I am going away .
I’ve already cried enough !
I’ve collected all my woes
And I am going !!
My knows , Everything my knows had turned into an everlasting Anguish.
Existence is an anguish ,
Life is an anguish
Even the whole universe is manifestation of this anguish.
The consciousness is itself a torment
This love of life and lust to love it
Too is a torment
Expression leads to desolation but who had been ever able to quote it ?
To exist is a pain
Non existence is pain
My dear ones
Pain is absolute
Pain is absolute .
Dr Aslam ansari
