Launched in 2016, Lokmanthan, a colloquium of ‘Nation First’ thinkers and intellectuals, has made a significant impact on the national discourse.
It has created a momentum to decolonise Indian psyche and challenged the Euro-centric academia. In 2018 the biennial fest is going to take place in Ranchi, Jharkhand. This time to challenge the Euro-centric “concept of people”, Lokmanthan 2018 will discuss “Bharat Bodh: Jan Gan Man”.
The participation in the prestigious colloquium is through registration, which has been opened up on June 25 on its official website www.lokmanthan.org. Lokmanthan 2016 was attended by 956 thinkers, practitioners and intellectuals.
The reception committee of Lokmanthan 2018 is having Shri Raghubar Das, Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Prof. Nandkumar, Vice Chancellor, Jharkhand University and Dr Manish Ranjan, Secretary Tourism, Arts and Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs. The organizing committee is composed of Shri Amar Kumar Bauri, Minister, Tourism, Arts & Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs, J Nandkumar, National Convenor of Prajna Pravah and Rajeev Kumar Bittu.
