Kerala reports the highest Covid cases in a single day with 118 new cases being confirmed today. As per reports, State Health Minister K.K.Shailaja informed in an official press statement that among the new Covid cases, 67 persons are returnees from abroad and 45 from other States.
Meanwhile , 96 persons recovered from the disease today. Presently 1380 patients are under treatment for Covid 19 in the State. Meanwhile Kerala Govt extends the date to have compulsory Covid testing for all expats returning to Kerala from abroad till June 24th.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan informed that all persons from abroad returning to Kerala from June 25th should do compulsory covid testing to ensure the separate travel for Covid positive and negative persons, for containing the virus spread.
