In Ladakh, Kargil became the COVID Free District after the discharge of the two Covid-19 Patients from Dedicated Covid-19 Hospital Kargil which included a 2 years old Boy. Besides these two Cured, 6 suspected COVID Patients were also discharged.
The Patient was given a warm farewell by the officials, Doctors, Para Medics and Garlanding with Traditional Khataks.
This is the second time that Kargil District has been Declared Covid-19 Free.
Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan referring to the earlier declaration of Covid free for Kargil said that more than 12000 people including students stranded outside Ladakh are expected to reach Kargil in days to come which increases the responsibility to contain the spread of Covid-19 to keep Kargil Covid free.
Feroz Ahmad Khan appealed the people to cooperate the administration in containment of the Spread of Covid-19 in the district by following the Quarantine measures as reports of violation was received by the Government.
He further added that those violating the SOPs and Quarantine measures will be dealt with strict Legal Action as well as Compulsory Institutional Quarantine.
