Minister of State for the Department of Space Jitendra Singh on Sunday said that Chandrayaan-3, India’s mission to Moon, would be launched in early 2021.
He said that Chandrayaan-3 will be a mission repeat of Chandrayaan-2 and will include a Lander and Rover but will not have an orbiter.
Chandrayaan-2 was launched was launched in September 2019 and ISRO had planned to launch the third in 2020 but the plan had to be postponed due to the unprecedented coronavirus pandemic.
